Thoughts on Julie & Julia

Julie & Julia is an amazing movie. Not only is it funny but it teaches you that you can do whatever you put your mind to and that hard work really does pay off in the end. I would highly reccomend this movie to everyone. It inspires you to try something new and to set your goals high because no dream is out of reach. It inspires me.

Julie & Julia

#1 How are the concepts you are currently learning about in class/school reflected in the movie Julie & Julia?

I think that expressing ourselves is not only expressed in class or school but outside of school as well. Facebook, Twitter, etc. those are all forms of blogging and expressing thoughts and ideas. School always influences you to try new things and to be optimistic whether you think youre going to like it or not. It is all about the experience.

#2 Pick one of the following career lesson we can learn from Julia and respond.

Julia put herself out there because even though she had no schooling or higher knowledge of culinary, she had strive. She knew what she wanted to do and put her dreams first and after all, it was a huge success. No matter where you're at in your life, rich or poor, if you have the motivation and passion to do something, you will make it happen. Your career should represent who you are as a person. You want to wake up everyday loving life and loving your job. Its a part of you whether you think so or not.

About Me

Interests, hobbies, and/or passion?

I honestly have so many that it is hard to just talk about one. I love to be adventurous and travel/try new things. Forensic science and chemistry are my absolute favorite subjects; thats probably why I want to be a crime scene investigator or something along those lines after college. In my free time I paint or walk around outside and take pictures. Softball  and baseball will always be my favorite sport. Basically anything exciting, I am all about!

Do you think that you have to have your life completely figured out by the age of 30? Why or why not?

NO. I mean I definitely think by 30 you should have a stable career and possibly a husband/family, but that does not mean thats where you have to stop. Once I have my set career I want to travel, or maybe even go back to school and minor in journalism. Life never stops, so why should you. There is so much to do in this world, I could never imagine having a neat planned out life. Where is the thrill in that?
